NZ Women in Medcine Wāhine connect event

Where there’s a will there’s a way. The stories about NZREX doctors challenges in NZ saw MELAA Advisory group engaging with key leaders across NZ including the former Chair of Te Whatu Ora / Health NZ (pictured with MAG Co-founders- Dr Carolyn left and Ngozi right). The outcome of MAG Advocacy among others, has led to NZREX doctors gaining bridging pathway into the health workforce.

MAG team attended the NZ women in Medicine Wahine connect event where Rob Campbell discussed the health services reform and the ongoing issues in the sector.

MAG continues to advocate for equitable access for all. The next phase for MAG is to push for increased intake numbers into the NZREX bridging program so that more doctors can participate.
