The MELAA Census 2023 hui will be YOUR chance to join in a lively and frank discussion with MELAA communities around Aotearoa-NZ and to meet the members of the MELAA Advisory Group and our Census 2023 survey team.

The Census is a vitally important exercise undertaken by government in which all members of our society should be represented. Without adequate representation MELAA communities are disadvantaged with respect to funding, planning and resource acquisition. We can only make a difference if we speak with a loud and united voice, and that voice is what MAG is planning to take to the table at the highest level, where decisions on the future of our communities are being made.

Even if you did not complete our survey, we want to hear from YOU- our MELAA communities, so we can start to make the difference that is needed for our people to thrive in Aotearoa-NZ. In an election year, it is even more important that we show up and speak out. See YOU there!
