Representation of the MELAA community in the national census is of vital importance. This is because we are a relatively small proportion of the population, and it is easy for us to be overlooked.

Historically, our communities have not been well represented, and this year’s census is likely to continue to reflect that. However, the MAG is committed to pushing for changes which will make MELAA communities better seen and heard.
